Working on Decision Day?

Hi guys, I was wondering if I need to take the day off of work for December 15th? I have to let my boss know soon if I can make it or not. I personally wanted to work that day as a distraction. I feel like it would be pretty depressing to sit by the phone all day only to never receive that phone call. But I've also heard that its required that we be available to answer our phone that day? Any advice?

i think the distraction of working will help with the anxiety...

Thank you! Good to know we don't have to answer. Yeah, I really think its better to have something to do that day instead of simply waiting. Its such an anxiety inducing day.

From the school I interviewed at, the school said if you missed their phone call, they'll leave a message (without telling you if you got in or not). They you can email or call them to inform them a time that you're able to receive phone calls.

Lol I got 4 interviews. Now its just a waiting game and hoping decision day works out. How many have you been to? Wishing you luck.

5 so far.. but with 4 interviews I wouldn’t worry.. obviously those schools saw something and unless you’re absolutely terrible at interview, I’m sure you’ll get some acceptances! Best of luck
