working with CRNAS

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Also, there is a push by crnas at institutions to have their students be called residents.

The student crnas wear badges that say "resident"

Hospital admin want this. It placades the nurses and tricks patients into thinking they are being taken care of by someone with more training than reality.

The misappropriation of physician titles is a long time coming. We have staff nurses refer to themselves as attending nurses. RT trainees call themselves RT residents. Nursing certificates are called fellowships.
Holy moly... Why.... Why even go to medical school. Just be an attending LPN or resident MA and practice at the TOP of your license!

the whole "practice at the top of your license" is also a bunch of mid-level hogwash.
By definition it means doing things that the license allows them to do... not that they are actually competent at it
nobody who cares about patients should ever want to practice in that way,
