Working without internship

Is it possible to work in Canada without doing an internship i.e. go straight into a PGY2 spot or do you have to do internship? Thanks

There is no such thing as an internship in Canada; some programs refer to their pgy1s as "interns" but technically they are not. You must start as a pgy1.
