Dude, donovan is anything but what you just described...he's actually really modest for someone who is the face of their country's soccer team. And England is good, just like Spain...just not quite AS good. 😀
And if the US took soccer seriously, we'd win...end of story...we'd beat my fellow spaniards/englishman. 😀 😎
spain and england are both notorious for being stacked with top class players but disappointing on the world stage. we beat spain in confederations cup for gods sake.

yeah it wouldn't be a major surprise but netherlands and argentina are fifa ranked 4 and 7 in the world. and i think italy and germany ranked 5 and 6 are probably favored over netherlands just because of their track records. netherlands was hugely disappointing in the 08 euro so i don't think people are expecting much from them.
i'm really looking forward to the tourn. i think we would have had a decent showing if charlie davies and onyewu were healthy but with the current status i won't get my hopes up.
