Worse on second exam?

So has anyone scored worse the second time they've taken the exam? And if so, how have you coped with it?

How can this be? MCAT measures intelligence! How can somebody score a 14 and then score a 9 (or vice versa) on a given section?

But honestly i dont think you can go from a 14 to a 9 under normal circumstances, but if you do score a 14, it wouldnt be too hard to slip to a 12 or an 11 on a bad day, cause honestlhy the difference bw a 14 and 12 could be as little as 3 or 4 questions

If you are equally prepared both times, (though I would think the second time one would doubtless be more prepared, and more experienced) a decline would seem odd, and I'd chalk it up to 'bad luck', tough passages, odd PS questions, etc. I would take it again and hope for different material.
If I did poorly the third time I would give up, because I'm obviously not getting it or trying hard enough, and my time could be better spent working on biz school applications.
Luckily, I doubt it will be possible to do worse on my retake.
