Today I was talking to my professor, and I was regaling him with stories of my bathroom escapades in a moving bus and then he got serious and asked me what my future plans were.

I told him I planned to go to medical school and it was either US or Off Shore, no masters for me in any eventuality.

He was a bit surprised and asked why I wouldn't want to do a masters, and I told him I had bad traumatic experiences in labs and if I had to do it for a year or two I would climb the bell tower with a rifle, being the good shot that I am, and start shooting.

Next thing I know he was saying, "Don't say that! I'd have to report you next time!!" LOL.

..I know, which is pretty much why I said it. It was a big joke during my freshmen/sophomore year when competition was fierce, everyone would come out of the midterms claiming to go climb that bell tower. Now I just say it out of habit. :-\ My bad, at least he knew I was joking.

Sounds like the field trip for the bio class which was a big waste of time.

Anyways, don't go offshore. After reading some threads in the caribbean forum, I have come to the conclusion that it's the worst place to go.

Ah, did you go on Saturday too? Who the hell are you?!!

Actually, the top 3 Carib schools : SGU, Ross and AUC are fine places to go. As long as you work your butt off, which you would be doing in a US school anyways.

I think you can figure out who I am. I was the guy on the bus who never came to class.. oh, wait.. that's like 50% of the class. N/M.

Actually, what my prof told me was that Price is retiring this year. She was asked to start up the class before she left. No wonder she's so gung-ho about it.

Interesting. She's seems like a nice professor. I just want to graduate and go to med school already. I was looking for the easiest Bio classes to take and picked this one. It seems pretty easy although it's kind of scary that it's on a straight scale and not curved. Not good.

Well, that midterm was only 15%. And I swear to God, I felt like an idiot for missing some of those questions.. I must've read through the questions too fast.. haha.

LOL. Actually.. realistically I don't expect to hear back from US allo schools until the last day when they send rejections. But I think it's either St. George's or AUC.

While once again, it might seem a no-brainer. I'm leaning towards AUC for the smaller class sizes and better living conditions. But St. George has a much better reputation and with such large class sizes, there must be some hot chicks!

After a midterm my friends and me always joke about jumping off the library building.....everytime we start discussing it and find out we missed a point, its like "man im going to march right up there if your telling me i missed another point." hehehe

Care to regale the rest of us? I need a good laugh.

I told an english professor to f' off on my final. I wrote 5 drafts of a 10 page paper and her only helpful responses when I went to her were "you are just not getting it". When I asked her to help me get it, her response was "I can't, I am not going to lunch. Just turn in the final".

So I told her that I could not write anymore, she was the worse professor ever, that I know she woud give me an F and give it to me. F 'off and have a nice holiday.

I got the F and retook the class with a better prof and got a B+

I asked my professor what his name was... his first name though.
