Hey everyone,
I wanted to hear perspectives on whether it is worth attending information sessions/campus visits scheduled for the fall when one has already applied for the 2019 cycle? Is it a good way to demonstrate interest (especially for the schools that may be nearby) or not too useful at this point?

I think these sessions are better suited for when you are building a school list. Applying to the school shows your interest already. Others may feel differently however.

I’m going to one in a few weeks, mainly because I want to see the area. I’m a non-trad with a family, so we’re using it as an opportunity to look at neighborhoods, schools, and potentially jobs for my DH. I’ve already decided I would go to this school if accepted.

Not too useful for your application cycle. Maybe useful to visit the location when someone else's vote would be important to your attending the school, as in seaturtle98's case.
