At the schools where I've interviewed so far, I've either been waitlisted or they are non-rolling and will re-evaluate interviewees in March or so. I currently have 3 average LORs within a committee packet, (2 professors and 1 volunteer supervisor), and I could obtain a good LOR from the MD I scribe for full-time. She also works in the health system of my top choice school.
During one of my interviews, they essentially asked if one of my letter writers was a clinician. I never got a physician letter because my scribe job started just before I sent in my committee letter. I don't want to bother the physician if I don't need to, but could it be beneficial if I were to add in this letter at this point, when available, through AMCAS and let the schools know?
Thank you!
