I'm nowhere near applying yet, but because of the distance from my house/school to the hospital/available time slots in the hospital/class schedule, I can't volunteer at the hospital I started volunteering at this summer. So basically I have 50 hours there and am now starting to volunteer somewhere closer. I spent most of those 50 hours pushing wheelchairs, helping people around the hospital, etc etc so I got some pretty good patient interaction (and definitely had a memorable moment or two).

But since it was for such a short time span (basically just a little over 3 months) is it still worth mentioning on my application when I apply?

I'm worried about including it because I might be staying at this new place for a long time, so it would pale in comparison to the time commitment I'm putting into the new place. But then again, it had a lot to do about my decision to continue the whole premed thing and I might want to talk about it later on...so
yeah :/

that 50 hours over 3 months is probably as much as many applicants have total, so yes, it's worth mentioning.

unless you're running out of space on the application, then you could leave out what you perceive as least important.

Ah, ok! I was worried I would have to explain why such a short time interval, since I really want to include it.

Thank you!! 😀
