Hi all, thanks for reading.

Basically, I'm looking for paid ec's I can do online, but am not sure what things will be well received by MD admissions committees.
The main limiting factor is the fact that I don't have a car, so my range is quite limited. I had a 2 days/week scribe position at a nearby hospital that I could reach by bike, but the scribe program has been put on hold for the past few months due to COVID.
I don't want to fill up the 2 days I would be scribing since I hope to return once the program resumes, and many in-person opportunities are simply inaccessible to me (especially with Uber/Lyft shutting down in CA).

Online scribing would be ideal, but not being available every day of the week and the competition from other furloughed scribes has led to a few rejections already.
Online teaching/tutoring is appears to be a pretty viable and available option, although I'm not sure how productive that will be in regard to applications.
There is an "environmental services" position open at the hospital I scribed at, from what I gather it's basically a hospital janitor job. Not really ideal, but it's in the hospital so maybe it could carry a little weight?

What do you all think? Any other suggestions or things I might look into?
Some further info about me is that I'm a Sociology major, and science-y, medical research type things have been quite difficult for me to come by. Anything related to medical research would go a long way to help round out my app.
