Would a Nov retake be too late?

Hi guys! I really need somebody's advice.

I am taking the DAT next Friday. I couldn't have studied more:

Studied from MCAT book, BArron's, Kaplan, CLiffs, DAT destroyer, and TopScore .....

But just don't seem to improve much. I really don't know what's going on!
If I had to retake on November ..would that be too late?

I submitted my AADSAS on mid-June, and even sent some secondaries already. Also, have a strong background.

why would you put urself in the situation for a re-take when you could do well this friday when you take the DAT???? Thats exactly how i felt when i took my first DAT and then had to retake...but you need to put urself in a positive attitude...dont go in there thinking, oh maybe i can just not try my best and then re-take it in november. Go in there and say im going to kill this thing right now and never have to study for it again and therefore not retake in November!!! And if you really dont feel like your ready then why dont you reschedule instead of doing poorly and re-taking in november. Also If you re-take in november your chances will be cut short...so it is in your best interest to do well now...

Just think positive...you did all you could, now go in there and kill it...dont think about a re-take in november it will kill your score trust me

Thanks so much...that's so true. Attitude is everyhting ...I have to think positive.
I just hope that my TopScore number are not representative of what I will get on my real DATs.

How are u doing in topscore? I have a post of my TS score vs. my actual scores... but i think its on page 2 by now

Hi! thanks and congrats for your score. Actually I am scoring the same as u on QR RC and PAT (18-21)

BUT with sciences ( all 3 scores 16-19) - more towards 16-17.

I don't know what I am going to do. Seriously I just want to cry! Also I applied to 12 schools...so much money, and I can't and don't want to take a year off.

I took my DATs again a year later and doing a post bacc. I was sad I had to take a year off but honestly who cares when in the end you get what you want and that's the best feeling ever!

I was all freaked out after my first set of DAT scores last year but I tried really hard to do better and I gave myself a lot of time to study [6-7 weeks about 7-8 hours a day]. Just be positive, it helped me a lot!!!!😀

Second time around last month I got a AA 21/ TS 22 / PAT 20 😍🙂..now I am dreaming of Dental School even if it's a year later {first time I took them it was not that high..eek!}
