Would it be fine if I left these schools out?

Hi all!

Ok so I've given it some thought, and I'm not really feeling on moving forward with any further info:
-Missouri
-Missouri Kansas City

My GPA is 3.94 and DAT is 22AA/23TS/23PAT

Ive also applied to the following schools (12 other schools)
Columbia
UIC
Midwestern IL
SIU
Iowa
Case Western
Ohio
Louisville
Indiana
Detroit Mercy
Michigan
Marquette

Would my chances be good enough that I could leave out these two schools? I know I should have probably thought this more through (especially financially), but I'm not feeling too strong about those schools.

Suggestions?

Thanks everyone!

Your stats are really good! I think 12 schools are just about right! If you're still unsure about those two schools, you can research them a bit more. If you don't really like them, then you don't have to add them.

Many of those schools will come knocking to your door asking you to enroll for next year's August. You have amazing stats and you have a good list!

I like your thinking..thanks!

12 is alot man if I were you Id apply to like 5 tops. I am only applying to 4 and I have 3.90 21/21/18. I am a little brave though hehe

Wow...so brave. I have 16.
My advisor actually recommended 15-20 schools...which I was a little shocked about, especially if you have good stats. I applied to a good amount of schools before I took my dAT (because I thought you couldn't add more schools, and because I wasn't sure how I would do), but I ended up doing well, which is why I'm sorta "iffy" on some schools. Nonetheless, I think it's better to have more options, than not enough!

Yea if you want alot of options then apply to alot. I just want 1 acceptance (like most people.)

But unless you are a hermit socially and can't do anything in an interview then you should get at least a few acceptances.

What is your state of residence? MO-KS only takes MO residents and from neighboring states without dental schools so unless that is your state school, drop that. I think the rest of your list is fine. I would apply to all of the remaining schools and see who gives you the best scholarships. You will probably get multiple acceptances unless you are a total dolt in your interviews, then you can see who wants to give you the best deal to attend.
