my mcat score can easily be higher because i missed up the psych section so badly, i am wondering, do i apply right now to take advantage of the rolling admission, but then let them know that i have another mcat score coming on november? or do i just apply in november

Most schools do not accept new scores past September test dates. You would not be considered then for this cycle. If a school does accept the November date you wouldn’t be marked complete and reviewed until they get the score in December which would then be way too late.

No school is obligated to wait for a new MCAT score, and Nov is too late for MD schools.

I'm in the same situation right now. Did super well on my Bio, Chem/Phys, and CARS, but bombed Psych. I'm retaking on 8/24. I'm going to submit with my original score, but then let schools know that I have another score coming.

Also, does anyone know how long it takes for scores to appear on AACOMAS after you request them from the AAMC?

You apply when you have the best possible app, even if it means skipping an app cycle.

Med schools aren't going anywhere (except maybe CNU), and by the time you're ready to apply, more will gave opened their doors or expanded their class sizes.
