Hey guys I had some quick questions about preparing for this year's AADSAS.
2015 will be my second year applying and as a non-trad former pre-med student, I have amassed approx 1700 volunteer hours since 2009 and 700 dental shadowing hours since 2011.
My question is if these numbers are too excessive to list, they are indeed legitimate, but I still feel unsure about what those giant numbers will look to admissions personnel.
This leads to my second question, as I apply for this year's AADSAS, should I leave out years old volunteering/shadowing experience in order to provide a more "down to earth " set of hours? I dont want to falsify information, or raise any red flags in case the dental schools have a copy of my last years AADSAS , but I'm not sure that volunteer hours from 2009 may even be pertinent to the application and I just want everything to go right.
Can you guys please give me some advice/insight?
btw I'm a 3.0gpa undergrad but I just finished my second semester of SMP for a 3.8 total gpa.
