Do Medical scribes care what specialty you scribe in? I'm going to be scribing in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)? How do medical schools views Otorhinolaryngology? Is it not seen as legit as a medical profession as other specialties, such as Neurology, Cardiology, etc.?
It's totally legit. In fact, ENT is one of the more competitive specialties when applying to residency.

Regardless, no, nobody cares what specialty you scribe in.

No one cares. Scribing is a great experience no matter what specialty as you are getting exposure to the physician-patient interaction directly. Something you can’t find in most other extra curricular activities.
