Would submitting my primary late June kill my application?

I'm an SMP student (I talked about doing a postbacc before but I figured SMP was better). Anyway, I ended up doing well (3.9), but my undergraduate GPA is still 2.97.

Because I'm afraid of getting screened with that undergrad gpa, I’m planning on taking an easy A (medical terminology) summer class that will bring my cGPA up to a 3.0. The problem is those grades won't post until about June 24th and so I can't submit my primary application until then.

Is this a bad idea? I'm wondering if the 3.0 is worth submitting in late June. I’m just afraid I'll be submitting during peak season and my application won't get verified until like August and I'll be in trouble.

What support do you have from your SMP faculty? Are your letters in order?

Yes, you should wait until your grades post. Posting earlier before you have a complete set of verified grades will harm you, and you can't afford more mistakes.
Thanks for the help! Yes, I've got several letters on hand including a committee letter from my SMP. Only other thing I'll be waiting on is an MCAT score that I’m taking June 27, because our program doesn't end until late May and I wanted a month to study to shoot for the best possible score I can.

Which does mean I'll get my score back late July. Only hope is that my primary will be verified by then (given I'll be submitting it late June). I've just heard it can take up to eight weeks peak season which concerns me.
