I'm an SMP student (I talked about doing a postbacc before but I figured SMP was better). Anyway, I ended up doing well (3.9), but my undergraduate GPA is still 2.97.
Because I'm afraid of getting screened with that undergrad gpa, I’m planning on taking an easy A (medical terminology) summer class that will bring my cGPA up to a 3.0. The problem is those grades won't post until about June 24th and so I can't submit my primary application until then.
Is this a bad idea? I'm wondering if the 3.0 is worth submitting in late June. I’m just afraid I'll be submitting during peak season and my application won't get verified until like August and I'll be in trouble.
