Would this class count as BCPM for Biotechnology?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The class is a design project that essentially has a group of undergraduates cooperate with a doctor at my university hospital to design a medical device for clinical usage through combining learned knowledge of physiology and engineering. The course is within my university's Biomedical Engineering department, but I noticed that under the Biology section of BCPM there was a biotechnology classification that would fit this well since (this is just my opinion) you are essentially designing biotechnology and learning about biotech in the space.

I can PM more info like the class name and abstract if anyone asks but would rather not post it on here for privacy reasons. Thanks!
An engineering class with a group project is not BCPM for AMCAS (regardless of the course prefix, it is the course content that determines how to classify it, and I doubt this class would be >50% physiology) but I believe AACOMAS counts engineering as a "science" toward their sGPA.
