If you could choose between going into a coma and waking up as an 29 y/o attending or going through the entire medical education process while enjoying life's great things along the way, which would you choose?

I'd just go through the experience. I mean, it's not like life shuts down while you're training to become a doctor or in medical school.

Life is too precious to waste.

I agree with all of you, I just wanted to know some opinions.

We statistically have about eighty years on this planet. I want to live every second of it.

Based on everything I've heard, life is only harder as an attending. Every step of life is harder than the next. I think med school and residency will be challenging at times, but will be the best years of my life.

No, I want to enjoy what's left of my youth--all 3 years of it.

No chance. I've been working full time for 2 years and I can't wait to get back into school.
