I had an interview there the first week of november, and was told that I should find out my status within a few weeks and that official letters will be sent out on Dec. 1, so now here it is five weeks later and still nothing at all..I am reading all these threads of people that have been both accepted and denied. I haven't been told anything, I called today, and those of you who went to Boston know that calling doesn't make a difference because they don't give you status updates over the phone, however I was told there is no time limit for me to look forward to, that my file hasn't had a final decision made on it...How ridiculous is that?? If it takes longer than 5 weeks to make a decision after you have interviewed with a school, then I'm pretty sure that school doesn't have its adcom together...WOW BOSTON...WOW!!

your guys need to chill....this is just how it works at BU...they haven't forgot about you....they start interviews later than pretty much any other school...likewise, there acceptances are sent out much later as well.....DEc 1st, dont count on it....Im a bu student and i didnt even interview until late Feb....if they want u they will let you know....they just dont follow the same timeline as other schools....in fact, they do a lot of thing different at BU and thats wut helps make it one of the best dental schools in the U.S. ....good luck , be patient
