on the endo portion of the exam...

if you access the wrong tooth... about 2mm deep prep into one of the fake teeth in the sextant....

the booklet states that you loose all access points... does anyone know if they mean access points for that tooth in that sextant (4 points) or all access points for both teeth.....

thanks

You may be lucky that the examiner only look at the xray, and don't even bother looks at the other tooth because he is busy. But God, how could you be mistaken the plastic tooth with the real deal? They are too far different.

let us know what your endo grades were ..

it would be interesting to know if the examiners actually look at the typodont with the teeth or just the X-ray for grading ..

Just xray, if people who only could find one canal in multi-rooted tooth pass.

I don't understand how you could do that, I don't remember that the candidate even talk about it, I don't know how wide you make the access en in the fake tooth. I think that the book states in the wrong tooth, refering to another real tooth that you have in your sextant, but I don't have the guide 2008. Maybe the examineer won't realize it. If he does you may appeal with the best story that you could think in order to convince them, if you are sure of your Endodontic treatments. Good Luck!!👍
