Writing about something mentioned in primary for secondary essays?

In my personal statement I sort of briefly mentioned a few different experiences (around 3) which included community service, shadowing, and research. It would be really difficult for me to not mention these in my secondary essays--is it okay to write about the same experiences if I try to spin them from a different angle?

Also, a couple of the experiences were my most significant in the work and activities section - not sure if they are still okay to mention if so.
