I took all of the prompts from the AAMC database and put it into an excel form and found the most commonly used key words.

I hope that some of you find this useful. I didn't list all of the words here, but a good place to start if you are interested in preparing for the writing portion would be to define some of these words in your own time and think of supporting examples for your definition of when the noun is good/bad and what determines this. For example: take the word govern and list one specific example of a good government and one example of a bad government and then use Wikipedia or something to flesh out a few details like dates, names, and places. I suggest that you focus on contrasting ideas as well because this will help answer the last question of the prompts. In the above example, what kinds of things determine a good vs bad government? Contrasts like protection vs. liberty, speedy economy vs. safe work environment, democracy vs. dictatorship, immediate gain vs. greater good... etc. Do this for all of the words listed below and you will most likely do very well if you have a solid command of the English language.

Feel free to post any developed ideas that you have here! And most importantly: good luck!

Word, Frequency
: govern 36 society 26 political 26 people 24 best 24 politician 24 nation 24 law 23 citizen 23 public 22 must 22 business 22 right 22 democracy 21 politics 20 way 17 individual 17 sometime 16 education 16 one 16 responsible 15 country 15 new 14 social 14 problem 13 good 13 rather 13 freedom 13 learn 13 concern 12 free 12 student 12 leader 12 important 12 order 12 power 11 success 11 never 11 policy 10 change 10 personal 10 make 10 belief 10 human 10 opinion 10 primary 10 action 10

Also, if you need help getting the topics flowing, stare at this list of examples, organized into categories.
