While many of our clients have known that they’ve wanted to be doctors since high school, we have also had clients come from alternative backgrounds. For example, we have worked with applicants who studied engineering or liberal arts and one who worked at a TV network before hopping into a pre-med post-bacc program. It’s important for such applicants to show that their atypical starting point has given them skills and insights that they can apply to medicine.
