I asked my doctor to write a LOR, and he told me to write the letter and he would sign it. How do I go about this, any advice would me much appreciated.

That is total BS. If this guy doesn't care enough about you and your career to take the time to write a letter about how great you are, then don't bother with him. Writing a letter in third person and having someone else sign it is completely ridiculous, not to mention ethically questionable (passing the letter off as something it's not).

There are plenty of docs out there willing to write great letters. Go find them. :luck:

Pril,
ditto what Amy said. You're better than that.

Thanks, I actually asked other doctors and they were more than willing.
