Hey guys, I took the boards today. I am so freaked out about the biochem section. Do you have any idea how they really grade it (since I don't think there were many students taking it today)? And how long it takes them to mail the results?

I think for the written it takes about 6 weeks to get the results. It's 2 weeks for the computerized. As for grading, I know they say they always check with other people that took the same exam, but it's roughly the same each year.

This should give you a rough guide. You only need around a 50% to pass, 85% to specialize in ortho.

I took the same test on Monday...the biochem section was tough. During all the practice tests, I was getting about 80/100 on that section...on the real thing, I think I got around 55-60 correct. Dont worry, it was a tough test.
