I was diagnosed 3 years ago with ADHD. I voluteerly went for a test. At the time I had people around tell me that I had this condition, non-medical professionals and was encouraged to exagerate my symptoms. At the time I was looking for a scape-goat why I was feeling down and may I mention I was drinking heavily and in a bad relationship and so on.

The truth is I have never been a over active child and in fact have been quite an intoverted one. Now that I have quit drinking, smoking, etc. and started an active healthy life I have begun once again to prosper in my school and within friendships.

Is there a proceadures for things like this to get re-evaluateted?

In a hurry! Thank you in advance so much

EDIT: I forgot to say why. I am concerned that ADHD is a trait nto well looked on in a professional setting. Needless to say I will dis-benefit from it through out my life. Are there any professionals or experienced, who could say how to go about this.

Not getting a re-eveluation is not an option

This is not an appopriate topic for SDN. Please seek help from a mental health professional.
