Hey folks,

I'm looking for advice. I'm interviewing at jobs, and one model I've looked at is hospital employed, with reimbursement for wRVUs. Is there any objective data on what pain medicine folks are getting for dollar per wRVU? If not, what is your updated sense of a reasonable compensation? I appreciate your input. If there are any other "must-haves" or "red-flags," I'm all ears.

Thank you.

My understanding is 50th percentile for MGMA is $63/wRVU for the last year. Changes a bit each year

Obviously you can expect less in a big city or desirable place to live, and vise versa.

Try to negotiate about $70 to73.

If you're busy, may get up to 9 to 10k wRVU/yr
