How many Withdrawals does your school allow? My school only allows a maximum of 6 credit hours be dropped.

Pharmcas doesn't count W's against you but they will still show them. A couple W's shouldn't hurt you for pharmacy school...but it also really depends on the school. I have like 4 or 5 W's and I got interviews this year to both schools I applied to so don't worry 🙂

Several factors when considering your W's.

- which schools are you applying to? Many schools don't care how many W's you have and others don't use pharmcas and have their own system for the application process that doesn't account for W's (see Arizona)

- what classes are your W's in? Core prereqs? Or classes that pharm schools don't even look at?

- how long ago were those W's? does your recent academic track record show an "upward trend" regarding your grades/classes?

you have to look at each school to which you're applying and determine how W's will affect your chances for each school. they all have different philosophies regarding W's.
