As per his own admission, he willfully contributed to the problems we were having (as did some others). The sticky above from Lee adresses some of the problems that we were having.

He'll be back and I will be glad when he gets here because he has a lot to add to the forum.

I agree and I hope that everyone on the forum can make this a bit more of a pleasant place than it has been lately.

I am sure that many disagree with the management of things and thats OK because thats how moderation works. Sometimes statements need to be made and lines drawn in the sand. At any rate, a lot of thought from very experienced folks was put into this decision. I think the best thing for everyone to do is not try and read into the situation too much and instead concentrate on getting this forum back to the form it once was. Personally, I think this forum dominates all others. We consistently have very high numbers of viewers and I hope that everyone contributes.

Right now we are in the process of letting this mess settle out so people are going to vice their opinions. usnavdoc voiced a reasonable concern and I don't think there is any reason to jump down his throat. By arguing like this you are perpetuating the very problem we are trying to get rid of.

Here's the lesson: This forum is worse off for all the crap that has been shoveled the last few weeks. It has certainly kept me away from posting and checking in. It's just childish and boring.

Grow up. If you're worried about the size of your penis compared to other members on this forum, then feel free to post it in your sig. If you feel one of the dimensions may be sub-par, think about reporting the volume. It will mask whether your inadequacy is length or girth.

Not taking sides here, just pointing some things out. Take a look at your posts (and the posts of others) over the last month. The reason that "random" people may take pot shots at you (and others) is due to the disruption that the actions have caused. The fact that you are ready to apologize and move on is great. The odds that every single member of the forum who has been affected by the nonsense will be at the same point in their head and ready to forgive and forget is highly unlikely. Therefore, some damage has been done and it will take time to repair. The first step will be for people to let things go and decide to refrain from posting a negative response. Not everyone will reach that point at the same time, but if enough people ar eable to swallow their pride and not respond, the forum can eventually heal. So, you will probably continue to see some fallout from the last month's events. It will not magically disappear and some may feel the need to take a random potshot based on your previous actions. If you truly want to have it get better, it will take some inaction on your part to make it occur. Eventually these threads will fall into oblivion as they move to the 3rd and 4th pages that no one really looks at. I personally hope that all 3 parties involved stick around and continue to post.
First impressions are difficult to overcome, and for many posters, the past month has been their first impression of you and others. Give the rest of the forum time to get to the point that you claim to be at where you want to move on.
