I was accepted to WVSOM last week, I go to Mesa State College in Grand Junction. Seems like a lot of us Coloradans are interviewing at WVSOM!

For now, I am holding out for KCOM(maybe) and CU (yeah right!). But i really liked it. KCOM would have to be pretty impressive to be better and CU, I can't resist in-state tuition but I am sure I will NEVER get in there, 33 MCAT and 3.7 GPA are their averages and I am a far cry from both. U?

Well, not really sure what my first choice will be since I only have one. But, CU is a nice school. I'm applying as an OOS so we'll see how that goes. I think I am competitive and I know some of my letters came from people with ties to the program.

I may be competetive or at least borderline becasue I applied to the rural track. Also, my mother-in-law is the attending for the OB part of the Greeley family practice residency as well as being a CU grad. So I have ties to the program too, and my best LOR is from a CU grad. Hopefully ties help 😛 Although, I don't really want to live Denver for 4 years. In some ways I hope I don't get in there just so I don't have to choose. I would be really happy at WVSOM and I loved Lewisburg.

Hey you two.. since you are applying to other places are you really going to drop 2k in a non-refundable deposit by december 15th?

It depends....I am still waiting to hear from the other schools I interviewed at so I am assuming they will respond before Dec 15th. If not I guess I will have to make a decision when that time rolls around.

I am going to wait until oh about the 14th to send my deposit. Just to make sure 😀 See what else pans out in the mean time. but I will probably send it.
