WVSOM - On Hold

So now that I'm on post-primary, pre-interview hold for WVSOM, should I just automatically assume it's not going to get any better? The postcard does say, however, that they are going to periodically review my file in case they [hopefully] decide to interview me.

Anyone else gotten this, or is it just me?

I guess I'm not too worried about it because it was only till after did I notice they they were the only school on my list to require a D.O. letter (I only have an M.D. letter). It still kind of sucks though.

I got this postcard as well, but was eventually offered an interview.

Its still early, and its quite possible you'll still get interviewed.

In the meantime, you might think about trying to secure an additional letter of recommendation from a DO, (if WVSOM will let you send another one in). Also a letter of intent couldn't hurt.
