Do you guys think it would be wise to include a LOI with my WVSOM secondary stuff? (Keep in mind I have an interview there Oct 6). I really want to go there, but I don't know if such a letter would be considered a sign of desperation or dedication.

Why not wait till after your interview. It shows how much you liked it post-interview and they would know for sure they have a future student.

I read somewhere they have been making decisions the same day or within 2-3 days, so they would decide before ever seeing the letter.

have the letter ready I mail it to them right after your interview. They should get it the next day.

I interviewed on 9/13/05. They made their decision immediately following the interview. You could find out if you were accepted on their website the next day.

I would recommend sending your LOI before the interview. The interview was not very stressful.
