I have been accepted to WVSOM and was wondering if anyone knows of good areas to live, approx. prices of 1 bedroom apt, and some names of places to look or someone at the school who could help. Thanks

Hi Helix.
I have been accepted at WVSOM also and looking at that area I am not only concerned about apts but furniture! How do you haul all the stuff through those mountains? Did you notice the run away truck ramps? How will a Uhaul do? No furniture stores in that town! No mattress stores either. So, what do we do?

That's interesting. I always thought they would have at least a furniture store. Maybe the neighboring towns will have a store of some sort. I've been accepted there as well but still deciding if I should go there or LECOM-PA.

I'm driving a U-Haul from Portland Oregon, if I decide to attend... I feel bad for you It will work, believe me, you can drive those suckers all the way across the country!

how long is too long to wait on getting an apartment or house in Lewisburg before the fall semester. any current students, or anyone really, know how quickly all the good places get taken? and on another note, what day do classes begin?
WVSOM is just too expensive and the fact that it is heavily focused on primary care, more than any other DO schools. 87% of their grads choose primary care... their rotation schedule for primary care consists of 20 some weeks total. That doesn't leave much for doing other rotations you want. Other than that I love the school.
