Just wondering...I need a "fresh eye" so to speak. I'm interested in applying to WVSOM...what's it's reputation like?

Also - I'm an in-stater, but I'm having a REALLY bad semester due to family troubles. I can pull Mostly A's and a few B's from here on out...but this semester I got straight C's. Will I still have a chance at WVSOM or is it over? I'm a sophomore.

I didn't apply to it because it's a ridiculously expensive PBL school in West Virgina.

How many reassurances do you need? I just checked your other thread. The collective opinion was "It's not over." And even if someone said it was over, would you give up? Take a deep breath and relax the buttocks.

A student has a choice between SBL and PBL at WVSOM. Only about 30% of each class chooses the PBL path. So it is not a "PBL"school so to speak. Also, it is ranked in the US News and World Report as one the top graduate schools in the country alongside the MD schools. It is very very expensive; however, it may be wise to research a school more thoroughly before you post such broad generalizations about the curriculum.

I stand corrected
