Did anybody receive an e-mail from WVU recently? The purpose of the e-mail was to confirm that your application was received by the school. This is the first time that I have heard a peep from WVU.

I got that email today... but that's because my app was sent out on Monday.

Wow, my app was sent in May and totally complete by mid-August, and I just now received the confirmation.

I applied to WVU early as well, and I just received the e-mail. I thought they forgot about me. O well, its not a rejection.

i just got it too... im surprised because they basically told me i wasted money applying there without 3 different science professors' lor. that email was very generic.. was about to delete it- thought it was an aadsas update

I received the same email saying my application was now complete, even though I had everything in by July!!

I got that email as well... they said they would send out a secondary that will need to be completed if needed - so I guess that will be if you make the first cut? who knows...

Yea I got it too. Kinda funny seeing how I went to an interview there last month haha

I received a secondary in the mail on Monday but just got an email today saying they'd send me a secondary after an initial screening and review...(timing isn't right) Oh well, I mailed in my secondary along with the $50 yesterday. I guess they want to get my hopes up until they receive my money, then they can reject me, 50 dollars richer! lol.

I am guessing they sent the e-mail to all the applicants who applied to WVU

I would say that yes, they probably sent it to everybody who applied. I got the secondary back in August and got the email today as well. Haven't heard anything about an interview yet, though... 😕 ... fingers crossed.
