WVU interview?

My scores are available on Predents. Is your friend in state or out of state?
Reportedly the manual dexterity test is a brand new item at the interview, so not much available info. Writing sample is supposedly a couple paragraph sample on a couple of topics.
i havent even gotten an application received from them yet....

Still nothing from WVU? I'm an OOS with pretty strong ties and am keeping my fingers crossed. Anybody hear of any OOS getting interviews?
How did you notify them of your ties to the university?
I used to live there and have taken some of my undergrad classes @ schools in WV. My shadowing and rec letters are also from WVU alum. I didn't "notify" them but hopefully that helps. I was waitlisted there in a previous cycle and kept in touch with their admissions staff and have improved my app. Hoping that all works in my favor.
I E-mailed their admissions staff asking about OOS interviews and a possible timeline. I'll let you all know if/when I hear back.

I carved a tooth just as they requested- I just not sure whether it was a vampire or canine tooth. I checked and Translyvania has no dental schools and veterinarians do dental work on dogs - so I might be out of luck
I'm pretty sure they were going for the Vampire considering the close proximity to Halloween.

Well, at least you were able to narrow down the species to which your tooth belonged. I'm currently scheduling a research trip to Madagascar to hopefully discover the creature whose tooth I carved. I'm sure he/she/it will be happy to know that there is someone out there who might be able to do some dental work for them someday.....
On a second note...I was accepted to DS....in my dreams last night. 🙄 The adcom had written it down in my interview folder. Then the zombies started chasing me through the ghost town and I woke up.

I might be able to save you a trip to Madagascar. I've did research on zombies-actually dated one for several years- I think the zombie saw your tooth carving and was chasing you to set up an appointment.
I would do anything to carve ANY TYPE of tooth - zombie, dracula, etc. Just send some love to OOS, WVU!
