I say work in a retail pharmacy. I dont mean once a week. I mean five days a week for 3 months (the whole summer) and then ask yourself, "is the money worth it?".

Interestingly, the Drug Nazi (as he used to be known) lived in Southeastern Appalachian Ohio very, very close to the part of WV I grew up in. He then graduated from Ohio Northern and moved out west. He actually COULD BE my father.

When you do choose pharmacy. Stay. Away. From. Retail. They'll lure you with tuition assistance and signing bonuses Name Withheld. There's a reason they have to do that. Because they have no respect for the profession and the only way they can meet their staffing needs is to buy off enough of those that do. If I check up on you in a few years Name Withheld, and you've got a pharmacy degree, you better be in a clinical hospital setting, teaching, or doing research or the ass-kicking you receive may be from me.

No way dude the summer is the easy time. Work full time in a retail pharmacy for November,December and January then ask yourself if the money and sign on bonus is worth it.

This guy is saying retail has turned him into a anti-social, alcohlic wreck. He lost his wife and has no life all because of retail pharmacy. **** is bad but not that bad....of course I think he works at CVS so it probably is that bad for him....we are all screwed.
