maybe I'm misunderstanding your speak. But kaydubs texted me yesterday because we have exchanged numbers before and asked me to post for her but I was in the middle of a surgery. There was no consulting with me other than asking me to post for her. By the time I finished the procedure, she was already able to post.

I made an item the first night (magic eight ball), and it answers yes and no questions. I was told at the time that hadn't gone into THE game when I first made it, but I received it last night and I asked 'Is DocE a villager?' and kaydubs told me no.

Lynch zensing

Complete shot in the dark since I'm not really following. But completely onerous posting restrictions in a game full of more light restrictions strikes me as.... odd.

Also someone had a power that failed on zensing. It is curious as to why it would have failed.
 
And to further clarify I got the 8 ball the night I was silenced (so it would appear I got it immediately upon you making it) and was able to use it the following night as I was unsilenced.

Let's not address what I asked it. Let's address that I got tgis message from an owl last night from someone who appears to be omnipotent as they told me magic 8 balls aren't reliable and thanked me for reviving the item maker. Thus my hedwig comment.

I'm willing to bet the ball is unreliable. Cyndia's role is something like "The Tinkerer" or "The Inventor" so she just made a regular magic 8 ball. Which is just a 12 sided die inside a liquid filled ball. A real magic 8 ball would need, well, a magician or some such nonsense. However, I'm concerned that you still have more rezzes. That seems pretty overpowered to have on the villager side.

When I questioned kaydubs about whether or not my previous items were in the game (based off her death writeup for me, I assumed not), she told me last night that the eight ball was still in existence and I was sent it. So I'm very skeptical that you received a message from someone using my owl.

I'm the Inventor, but the pretty sure the 'magic' bit is unimportant. I can make items, and I wanted something that would answer yes or no questions (including about affiliation), so I just happened to name it a magic eight ball since that's what popped into my head.

Actually - you definitely could NOT have received a message from the owl! The day I was up for lynch I sent a message to kaydubs to make that item as a contingency in case I wasn't lynched. I think someone saw my messages and posted on the thread about it, but I was killed so I don't think my item was ever made, even though I was revived at the end of that night.

This is what I received, also why I think it came from one of our omnipotent players (if which I'm not one, but I've already interacted with one) "You have received an owl with a message attached..."magic eight balls aren't always accurate..and that flaw could cost you your life. ps - nice job onbringing back the itemmaker."."
 
Also again. Revived by me. Idk who brought the other one back.

And what's more concerning than me haVing multiple revives left. Is that someone else clearly had at least one too
 
al;kdjfs I'm confused. Just saw your hedwig comment, I didn't notice it before, but that kind of adds up with the message you're claiming to have received, unless there an omnipotent player thats purposefully messing with the game. I'm still confused about the owl though since I was lynched and never told by kaydubs it was made.

Let's count the ways why your last post is *****ic.

you want to roll the dice on killing a person who revives others. And I took credit for the revival with my teammates (they'll back me up).

You want to kill a person who revives? don't you think with multiple revivals there is a game balance reason for that? One you really don't want to lose? Even if you did... why not make me prove it by reviving again, not by killing me. Genius. Gonna keep trying to revive someone anyway unless I'm blocked.

Let's say you're afraid I'm reviving wolves. Why wold my own wolf progeny be the one to out me then? That makes no sense.

I referenced the 8 ball before anyone knew it existed. And referenced the owl before anyone knew it existed. And I got a letter from.the owl saying the 8 ball isn't reliable. And the message seems to be from an well connected source since it referenced the 8 ball by name but I nevee did to anyone else until now.

So your grand idea is to lynch someone with game changing utility (from a balance perspective) based on th3 info of an item I now know is flawed, someone else well connected warned me was flawed, and the person who accused me suspects is flawed given I'm the one who revived her and she knows she's still a villager.

(No, I'm not defending Dyachei. I don't know anything about her. I just don't understand STL's train of thought here.)

You lynch me. I die. I come back. you don't get a person revived because I have to use it in myself. You don't kill me the wolves try and I still get to revive someone because I'd die after my revival (maybe) and I come back in time to revive someone tomorrow. You know damn well that the wolves know I'm not one of them. They'll kill me for you within 1 round. you know that. I know that. Why are you wasting my ability to ALSO give you someone back?
