OP, I'd go to each and every interview you receive until you have at least one acceptance in hand. Then you can afford to be picky/choosey with declining interviews. In regards to the job, you weren't planning on doing that forever anyway, right? That's why you applied to dental school in the first place. I'd try to work things out with both the school and the job, asking the school if they have other days since dentistry is your passion, but you've already taken many days off from work, but you would like to be responsible and keep working to save up a little money for dental school. Maybe they'll give you a Monday or a Friday interview, so then you really only miss one day of work (either Thurs or Tues) instead of multiple days?
Who knows, that interview may not place you on the waitlist and may instead give you the opportunity to start school next year, instead of having to reapply all over again (which you already know is a long and tedious process). I'd go! What's meant to happen will happen.
