Does x-inactivation (barr body) only occur in females?

Yes they explained it, but they never really mentioned that it was females only.
BTW, I'm starting to get intimidated by all the info in cliff's. Is all of this detail really necessary? I mean they don;t even touch on the basic stuff like cell theory and what have you (granted I haven't finished reading the book yet).

Ya I agree, I skipped some Cliffs, it was just too much. Wait till you get to the Kingdoms.
