So, once you store a letter on interfolio, if you go into your documents section...hover over the name of the person. It will have this email that reads something like "[email protected]". It's an email generated by them that is specific to that letter.

So, in AACOMAS I put in the person's name and everything, but where it said to put their email, I put the interfolio email specific to the letter that person wrote me. Interfolio will create a delivery in your account for this and then notify you by email, should cost $4 a letter.

I'm really glad it worked, because there was no way to go straight into interfolio and say "send letters to AACOMAS" like you can with AMCAS/TMDSAS.

Appreciate you writing this out, I'm going to go ahead and try this. Did you include the "send.Lastname." that comes before the random generated letters and numbers in the email?

Well I did this method in the morning and have not received an email yet from interfolio, I'm guessing its because I did it early in the morning. I'll wait a little bit and then call interfolio to see whats up.

Yeah, I emailed them about it. Took them 1-2 days to get it set up.

I'm giving this a try as well, it took ~7 hours from the time I gave the e-mails to aacomas to the time interfolio got the request. Just sent it off, hopefully aacomas takes it without a problem.

Go Ahead man, also I'll let you know that I had one of my letters successfully sent after contacting them. I put in a request for my other two. I also agree on the lateness, took about 6-5 hours for a email reply

edit: After a few more email exchanges with interfolio, all 3 letters have been sent from my interfolio directly to AACOMAS to be packaged with application. It costs $4/letter as Mavs88 said earlier. Method does work.

how about MAILING the LOR? It would only cost $6 no matter how many letters you mail (all at once to a destination). Does AACOMAS accept mailing?

how about PharmD with a BS?
i think it's not fair to count professional coursework GPA with undergrad GPA... getting A's in dental/pharm/med school is definitely harder.

You'll have to ask them. Was it like a 5 yr program where u finish the first 4 yrs u get the BS and then u get the PharmD after the fifth yr? Then only the last yr would be graduate.

nah, i had a BS, then 4 years of PharmD = 8 years total.

Then all your PharmD is graduate level and included in the GPA calcs this cycle. Last cycle it wouldn't.

I electronically transmitted my MCAT scores from AAMC last week, but does anyone know if there's a way to tell that AACOMAS has received them? All I can see in AACOMAS are the scores I typed in.
Also, I'm ready to submit my app, but I'm still waiting to add a letter of rec. I don't have the email address yet for the DO I've been shadowing. Does anyone know if you can add letters after the app has been submitted? Thanks!

Hello everyone

I'm having an issue with AACOMAS sending my information to programs. After choosing the prerequisites for each school, I was expecting to see the blue "pay now" box to appear (according to the instructions). However, each school status bar is set at about 98% and hasn't not moved. Therefore, I am unable to make a payment. Has anyone else experienced this? Any help would be appreciated.

I believe the intent of the new AACOMAS system was NOT to use Interfolio to AACOMAS to single "package" of LOR to all schools. My guess would be that it would likely violate user agreement between Interfolio and AACOMAS. I mention this as the seemingly path to use Interfolio to AACOMAS to All schools may suddenly be prevented if/when some software update to either AACOMAS or Interfolio.

Rep from interfolio said they had talked to aacomas about this method where we input the interfolio letter email when we request a letter in AACOMAS and interfolio sends it to them. Worked for 3 letters for me so far.

Hey, I am stuck in the same boat as you are about MCAT scores. I submitted a request for electronic transfer to AACOMAS, but I'm not sure how to recognize if they have received it on the application. On top of that, now I am locked out of my AAMC account 🙁( also, yes you can add lors after the application is submitted. You just can't edit completed lors.
