excuse my ignorance.
I am already accepted, what are the benefits of attending? I am truthfully interested in going, I just want to know how it would benefit me to go, so I can justify it or not...

I would agree. I began attending the conference years before I applied and then continued to attend throughout the entire process. There are always people who are a few steps ahead of me to ask advice from, people a few steps behind me that I can share my experiences with, and it is a great way to network!

Each year, I learn something or meet someone that has helped me in my overall goals.

Ah I would really love to go to this, but I used up all of my vacation time to study for the MCAT. Maybe next year I can attend as a (hopefully) MS0!
