Hey guys,

Was just wondering how some people choose to spend their time between applying to medical school and (if they are lucky enough to get in) enrolling?

I've been working in a clinical research position at a hospital. I know some people who work in basic science labs or as ER scribes. If money isn't an issue you can also spend the year getting clinical experience through volunteering, though I believe some med schools want to see you being employed for at least some period of time.

Working as a clinical research coordinator and volunteering with Habitat on weekends. I have friends applying this cycle who are working as a scribe, doing a post-bac research internship, and getting an MPH.

I worked part time teaching ballet classes and read a **** ton of books. It was great.

Finishing up undergrad lol #fun 😛

Spending all day on sdn 😛

Enjoy it as much as you can.
