Checked my PSR or was it ODC; noticed my Year Group changed. "I check it every day you know."

With all seriousness though, was wondering what this means.

Many potential variables but the most common would be if you have prior service and recently graduated medical school or had some other record correction such as credit for an advanced degree, etc.

If you've been out for a while a YG change would be more rare from my understanding. They can bring more year groups into a selection board to put people in zone sooner than they thought they should have been, but I didn't think that would be shown in a YG change.

I think I need to put more info. Im just a resident. Kind of strange to see YG just change out of blue. All my prior stuff and advanced degree stuff was already reflected on my date of rank.
