yet another pre-req. question

sorry for all the question, i'm just trying to get everything in order and registering for summer classes .....

My main goal is NYCOM and their requirement is either BIO or Zoology,...now years ago i took both and got a C+ in BIO and a D+ in ZOOLOGY......does the zoology have to get averaged in my science GPA if the requirement for the school is Bio OR Zoology? I'm kinda confused on what to do about this.

ALL science classes taken will be averaged unless it was a retake for the same course.

That's right. You can't pick and choose what classes you put into your GPA. Why wouldnt you want to retake a D+.

All science courses are averaged. I would suggest retaking zoology because it's pulling your gpa down. The C+ in Bio is not the prettiest but it's still good enough that you don't have to retake it.

Heres the thing....the Zoology and Bio were both taken at a 2 year community college and i graduated from there with my associates degree and i transferred to this 4 year school im at now last year. Can I still go back to the community college and retake the zoology even though i got my Associates degree from there already?

You don't have to go back to that school to retake. Just retake it at your new college.
