i just realized that on my midwestern supplemental, for the question "why do i want to attend midwestern specifically?," i wrote something along the lines of loving the chance to be part of an inaugural first class.

little did i know, the first class STARTS in 2008 and not 2009. their website and my ADEA book said it was opening up for students in 2008, and so i thought it just meant it would be ACCEPTING apps in 2008. so to sum it up, i basically made a fool of myself writing about how i would be in the first class when i would actually be in the second one.

my chances at MWU are pretty much shot huh 🙁.. is there anything i should do? so sad.. considering i was actually really interested in that school too. bleh haha

Just send them a letter apologizing for your mistake and how you misinterpreted the information.

i think im going to follow dent2009's advice. anyone else think this is a good/bad idea??

I think it's a really good idea and I guess write another essay on why you want to attend if you didnt add anything besides being part of the 1st class?

I think with your DAT scores you could have written anything you wanted and they would have the red carpet out, door open, and your seat warm for you! CONGRATULATIONS ON THOSE SCORES MAN!

Tell me, that had to be the best feeling ever, right? 99 percentile...
