I may be up a creek here, but I don't know...I need your help.
I am 26, and grew up when I was 24. That's right. I have been cleaning up crap from pre 24 life for some time.
Here is the scoop:
First went to college at "X". I got "ok" grades here, B's at best, strewn with a few A's, 30 credits total. I dropped out, got into the techie industry and "thought" I was all that. I got married at age 19, and had NO CLUE what life or a career was all about. I then went to college "Y" and got crap grades. I just looked at the transcript, a bunch of "W" for withdrawl by student, an F because the teacher accused me of cheating although I wasn't and got the dean to wipe record clean of cheating; however the F is still there. Minus the W's and the F, my GPA there was 3.28.
Now, two years ago I woke up. Realizing I was a freakin low-life idiot, I decided to start over. I transferred all B and better grades to a new college "Z" and got nothing but A's while I was there. I graduated with honors, and the only B's are TC, the rest is a 4.0.
Now, the rest of my sciences that I am finishing at a CU are all A's (if I can keep it up!!!). These are the Pre-Meds. So, what do you think?
In the past two years, I have done a TON of extracurricular work, a TON! Turned my family around, have a great job, straight A's, wonderful people behind me (military and current doctors), and life is grand.
Are they going to look at my previous career as an idiot and knock me out of the running?
I am worried about this, but there is nothing I can do but tell the ADCOM's that I am a different person, dedicated to life and my career, and will continue to do so.
*shrug* I don't know....
