...Some people on there want to make me crap my pants. Some dude (or gal) got like a 272 Step I and a 279 Step II on the rads page. You've gotta be f***ing kidding me.

Just like mdapps, I would hesitate to put too much stock into sites like you listed. Ultimately, all they evolve into is an e-peen contest.

Well, technically that assumes a Gaussian distribution, which probably isn't the case. Given that 180 is passing and ~222 is the average, I assume that beyond about 260 you are getting into a tiny sliver of the curve. I'm not sure about percentiles. The fact is though, I've never heard of a Step I score higher than like 276 or something (look up "pollux" on SDN).
