You ever have to do CASII, ECSII, CALOCUS to make insurances happy during audits?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I didn't know, either, and had to look them up; seems they're specific to children/adolescents, which would at least partially explain why I've not heard of them.

I do know I've heard multiple local providers say they've had to adjust note content to meet Medicare's documentation criteria in order to pass audits. I suspect the same is true for private insurance, but don't know much about the specifics.

I’ve never heard of those either but like posters above I looked them up. MA requires the use of the CANS which is a similar instrument for Medicaid clients under the age of 21. It’s a waste of time from the clinician standpoint but required so I just do it. The ultimate goal is to coordinate care for a youth involved in multiple systems of care.
